Micki Baker

In addition to being the host of this website, I am a Leader with AVON. I have been with AVON for over 25 years, and started Leadership in 2009. I live in east central Alabama, but I work all over the Southeast US. I’ve had AVON representatives in my unit from as far west as Albuquerque, NM to Newark, NJ to the East.

I pride myself on staying connected to my people and being available for any and all questions or problems they may have. I believe that the way to success is hard work and helping others to achieve their own success. Everyone in my Avon Unit works hard to build their Avon business whether it is for a little extra money or for a full-time Avon career.  Thank you, guys & gals!!!

Nancy Hawkins

I first started Avon helping another representative. I really wanted to get things for myself since I loved Avon and
didn’t have a representative. But as more and more people started buying from me they convinced me to become a
Representative myself. So on September 16, 2010 I became a Representative. It wasn’t long after that, I started into Leadership. I really enjoy getting people started in this business and being there if they need help.

When health problems forced me to leave the job I was working, I was looking for a way to make money without the physical
stress of the job I had been doing. I checked into many jobs and decided that Avon looked like a great way to build a
business and to make the kind of money I wanted. On September 5, 2011, I met with Micki and started to build my business.
Within a short time, I had built my customer base and my sales were putting me into President’s Club status.  Micki had
already begun to talk to me about Leadership and I figured it was the next step up in my business. My lovely wife Valencia
was doing so much to help that we officially added her as my co-applicant. We are now Leaders and looking forward
to taking the next step up!

How many businesses can you invest only $15.00 to get started? When I first began, I just wanted to be able to get the
products for some friends and myself after losing contact with our representative. Now after eight years in the business
and making Presidents Club the last 5 years, Micki Baker showed me how I could help others to do what I’m doing. How rewarding!

I am currently engaged to Sgt. Thaddeus Merritt and have three sons: Antarrio, Isiah, Tristian. I have worked full-time for the Alabama
State Legislature for 17 years, and 4 years part-time, and I attend the New Life Church of God In Christ.
